Gerardo D’Abundo was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and started playing bass at the age of 14.
He is always accompanied by his japanese Fender Jazz Bass, with which he finds his true tone. Influenced by Flea, Jaco Pastorius, Guillermo Vadala and Mark King, among others, Gerardo has developed an unique funky disco style.
Luckily, music made him travel around the world. He toured down South America, Europe and Asia with different bands and played many styles, like folk, funk and pop.
Today, he is based in Mallorca performing with many different bands and making his own music.
