BASS LESSONS

Great lessons from an inspiring instructor. I first learned about Cameron after seeing him live many years ago. He was one of the first bass players to truly blow me away in a live setting. After finding myself in a bit of a rut with my own playing, I reached out to him and learned that not only is he a killer bassist, but also an exceptional teacher.  After discussing my goals, Cameron was able to introduce me to new concepts that gave me a fresh perspective on how to approach the instrument. Furthermore, he provided me with some great exercises to practice at home.  If you’re looking for a seasoned player who has a wealth of knowledge to share, look no further! 

Not a typical pentatonic course. Although the basics are covered, this course adds a lot insight that I have never heard anywhere else. The pentatonic modes lesson is definitely a game changer. I will be working on mastering all of the materials.

Helpful! Great lesson! Seeing the B-flat major on the E string as an F mixolydian was a helpful hack to play scale up one string.

Really informative and helpful perspectives. While going through the different video resources I can say that I was presented with different approaches and ways of thinking about groove and time that I had never thought about before. I’m now incorporating many of these concepts in my playing. Really great stuff!

Low End Pocket Theory is a win! As a producer working with both new and experienced bands and session players, the “pocket” has always been an elusive term for some. Pocket has always been something I’ve just felt and it can be at times difficult to articulate to others in studio situations. What Cam has been able to lay out in this course has not only helped me understand pocket on a deeper level, but it has provided me with new tools to help players in the studio when the pocket needs to be found. Kudos to Cam and the Low End Nation team for a job well done! Look forward to more stellar material.
